As someone who dislikes spending the time to sit down and journal, I always have a hard time getting started when I [actually] want or need to do it. I usually just sit there staring at my notebook while my mind is completely blank. However, if you put me in front of my MacBook, it's a completely different story! My fingers just start typing away...
I needed to kick the habit of always using my MacBook when I should be put putting my thoughts down on actual paper. So, it's safe to say I was really excited when I was given the opportunity to check out and try The Sunny Journa
l by Laura Iancu for free in exchange for a review of the product on my blog.
What is The Sunny Journal?
According to Laura Iancu's website, "The Sunny Journal is for all the dream-chasers, goal diggers and go-getters out there. It’s for you if you are an entrepreneur, side hustler, blogger or someone who believes you were meant for more. It’s for you if you wake up in the middle of the night, your heart pounding, and tell yourself ‘this cannot be all there is‘. And it’s for you if deep down you know your life could be so much better if only you’d get out of your own way."
And you want to know one of my favorite things about The Sunny Journal? It's tagline... "Daily Hugs For The Soul."
I don't know about you, but I personally need a daily hug from the universe because it helps me practice gratitude, self-acceptance and self-compassion to heal every single day.
Now, I'll tell you that I didn't write in this journal every day but when I did, it definitely boosted my mood. The journal is undated so this made me feel that I could come back to it whenever I felt the need instead of looking at a few missed days here and there. It includes 182 days of daily journaling and has 50 questions for self-exploration. I also loved that it helped me keep track of my mood with 5 little hearts I could color in at the top of each page and the morning prompts were AMAZING for setting intentions.
If you're looking for a journal that prompts you to stay positive and guides you towards seeing the "Sunny Side" of life, this journal is for you. Staring at a blank page and trying to figure out what to write isn't fun at all and I think having the same daily prompts and questions to ask yourself gives you a sense of routine and acts as a complete mindset hack for your brain.
This is a sponsored post in which I received a complementary Sunny Journal in exchange for an honest review and promotion of the product. Also, this post does include affiliate links. I will receive compensation (at no additional cost to you) if you make a purchase!
